Terri's Sloppy Joes Recipe

Description

Ground beef and onion simmer in a sauce made with mustard, ketchup, barbeque sauce, vinegar, and sugar in this baseball concession stand favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook and stir the ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef is completely browned and the onion softens, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir the ketchup, barbeque sauce, vinegar, mustard, and white sugar through the ground beef mixture; simmer 15 minutes.
