Easy Stir-Fry Sauce

Description

Asian-inspired ingredients bring tons of flavor to this easy stir-fry sauce--just mix up, add to your protein or vegetables, and simmer until thickened.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¼ cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 pinch Chinese five-spice powder
  • 1 dash Sriracha sauce, or to taste

Instructions


  1. Place chicken broth, soy sauce, hoisin, water, cornstarch, 2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon brown sugar, olive oil, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger paste, garlic, white pepper, five-spice powder, and Sriracha into a small mixing bowl. Using a whisk, mix ingredients until they are fully incorporated.
