Agua fresca de sandia, a refreshing watermelon drink that is served throughout Mexico, is best served cold and over ice.
- 3 cups water, divided
- 1 medium seedless watermelon
- ⅛ cup sugar, or more to taste
- Cut watermelon into small pieces and place in a blender. Add 1 cup water and 1/8 cup sugar; puree until smooth. Pour into a pitcher.
- Add remaining 2 cups water. Sweeten with additional sugar, to taste.
